September 28 is National Drink Beer Day! And for those who love beer as much as we do, this is probably the best holiday ever. Not like we needed an assigned holiday to drink beer, but since there is one why not go out and celebrate it with a cold one. Oh and guess what? Don’t know if you’ve heard yet, but Long Beach happens to have been in the news recently for our growth as a craft beer-loving city. This spot is quickly catching fire among Long Beach residents because of its relaxed and modern vibe. It is truly an experimental hub of great sours and weisses. It features a selection of unique sour blends on tap, board games, and it is dog-friendly. Bartenders are said to be very friendly and willing to answer all sorts of questions patrons might have. This a family owned and operated craft brewery and taproom. The architecture of this spot provides a very open, cool, and spacious vibe. Ten Mile Brewing offers a selection of handcrafted beers brewed with the freshest and finest ingredients to reflect the historical accuracy of each style of beer. They are also dog-friendly. The brewery even has its own in-house dog that roams free, a cute Akita named Barley. Perfect spot for beer and dog lovers!

Congregation Ale House

The Congregation Ale House has a not-so-subtle church theme. But don’t worry, it isn’t cheesy at all. It is actually very well done creating a cool, laid-back environment. This spot features a large selection of draft beers on tap, a delicious food menu with vegetarian options, great prices, and friendly staff. It has a great restaurant/pub layout, where you can order at the bar and sit anywhere you want.
