GetOutLB and “Best of LBGT Long Beach Awards’” founder and creator has launched, with new leadership, Long Beach Home + Living, a new multi-media platform focused on community inclusion.
GetOutLB, Long Beach’s largest LGBTQ online magazine has severed the community for the past several years. With thousands of followers and countless fundraisers, donating thousands of dollars to LGBTQ causes, and honoring our community leaders through the LGBT Awards; the magazine has provided the community with resources, connection, and a voice.
Due to the exceptional connections made and the diverse voices heard, GetOutLB’s creator decided to move toward a broader platform that celebrates Long Beach and its lifestyle including our fabulous LGBTQ community. From local businesses and events to community leaders, Long Beach Home + Living strives to showcase the best our city has to offer and much more.
The new multi-media platform will include weekly segments, video series, live updates, signature events, and more.
Since honoring and celebrating our diverse community is what we do, our first signature project will be The Best of Long Beach Awards. This event will be an all inclusive celebration our city and the extraordinary people that make it; from Cambodia Town to Belmont Shore, from the LGBTQ community to local non-profits and local leaders to everyday heroes. Long Beach Home + Living would like to invite you to be part of this citywide celebration and support your favorites this December at our inaugural Best of Long Beach Awards Celebration, filled with live performances, music, special speakers, and more.
