C Gallery on Broadway presents “Come Along for the Ride with the Railroad Series” featuring paintings by Theodore Svenningsen and multi-media work by Claudio Strilio. The exhibit opens on September 14 th from 6 to 9 pm with music by jazz guitarist, Frank Potenza and closes on October 6th.

Theodore Svenningsen is a noted Los Angeles-based painter contemporary painter and with his realistic style of paintings from his “railroad series” set in desolate and lonely winter conditions. The artist received a Master of Fine Arts from Otis College of Art and Design. His works have been widely exhibited in New York and California and are in numerous corporate and public collections and public murals.

Claudio Marcelo Strilio is a multi-creator. He believes that his creative explorations allow him passage through mysterious fractals using words, liquid rubber, paint, inks, and sound. His work primarily uses liquid rubber (Flexseal), ink, acrylics, pastels, oils, and just about anything that will take him on a journey into the inner universes. His aim is to emotionally explore this surreal world as a journalist of sorts and return with artifacts in the form of these works. Claudio’s ‘Emotional Surrealism’ work has been shown in galleries in NY, and NJ.
