Ready to get artsy?!  The Aspiring Artists Creative Studio class is an opportunity for kids to express their creative side through art-based activities. Each class will follow a theme and include a brief circle time with a variety of activities that follow the process of art while teaching the children the process along the way. This class is suggested for children ages 3 years and up. If you’d like to enjoy Open Play before or after your class, be sure to include the Add-On below.  Parents must remain on-site for the duration of the class.  You can click the link below to purchase tickets!

4TH SUNDAY BEACH CLEANUP

Sunday November 24th from 10 am – 11 am

This Sunday is the 4th Sunday of the month, which means it’s time for the Alamitos Beach Cleanup!  Families, groups, and individuals of all ages welcome!  Meet on the sand near the Alamitos Beach parking lot.  Enter on Beach Access Road, off of Shoreline Drive & Ocean Blvd/Alamitos Ave.  Look for their table and shade tent at the southeast end of the parking lot. For directions enter “Alamitos Beach Cleanup” into google maps, which will lead you to the parking lot.

They offer *free parking codes*, valid for the duration of the cleanup at the Alamitos Beach parking lot.  Be sure to enter the unique parking code (provided each month via social media or email) into the kiosk, print your ticket, and display it on your dashboard.  Sign in at their table when you arrive and they will provide bags and gloves for the cleanup.  Volunteer credit slips are available for students, and will be given at the end of the hour.  Want to be an environmental superstar?!  Bring your own reusable gloves and a bucket or reusable bag to collect trash. Check out their event page for more details!
