LONG BEACH LOBSTER FESTIVAL

Friday September 6th from 5 pm – 10 pm, Saturday September 7th from 12 pm – 10 pm, and Sunday September 8th from 12 pm – 10 pm

The Long Beach Lobster Fest is this weekend at Rainbow Lagoon!  This will be its 23rd year of providing Fresh Live Maine Lobster, prepared to mouth-watering perfection in the World’s Largest Cooker. You can dance away the calories to a variety of popular artists throughout the day on the dance floor, enjoy tasty eats in the food court, kick back in the VIP Lounge, take a Free Souvenir E-Photo, check out the Arts & Crafts booths, catch some sports action at the Live Sports Tent, explore the live reptile exhibit, sip on adult beverages (beer, wine, specialty drinks — infamous Signature drink “Screaming Lobster” and Margaritas), and sing a tune at the Karaoke Lounge with a Live Band (Fri. & Sat. night). There is something for everyone, including kids, Magic Show (as seen on America’s Got Talent), Face Painting, Games and Inflatable Bounces.  There are tables and chairs to sit in, but you are also welcome to bring your own folding chairs or a blanket to lie on the grass.  Children 12 and under are free with purchase of an adult ticket.  No outside food or drink except for one unopened bottle of water per person.  Also, no pets except for service animals. Check out their website for more info and follow them on social media to be the first to buy tickets to next year’s Lobsterfest!

Come down to 2nd Street this Sunday for the 30th Annual Belmont Shore Car Show!  2nd street will be closed off to allow the public to walk the street and admire over 450 Classic cars!  This free event is great for all ages and will also include local vendors with food, drinks, and merchandise for sale.  All of 2nd Street’s restaurants and stores will be open during this event as well.  We recommend public transportation or walking because 2nd Street will be completely closed to any vehicles not on displa,y and parking in the surrounding areas can be tricky!
