The CSR is the premier water ski race in the world, but the CSR is more than just a race. With its rich 73 year history, quality of competition, and challenge of the open ocean, the CSR has earned its place on the world stage.
The start will be between islands Grissom and White, in front of Junipero Beach (visible from the bluffs along Ocean Blvd). After exiting the breakwall, they will ski to Avalon Harbor then turn around to ski back to the finish line at the stern of the Queen Mary.
