Every week we will reflect on a different Yama. The yamas encourage us to increase awareness of our behaviors and their consequences. They help us build positive relationships to ourselves, others, and the environment. The yamas are ahmisa (kindness), satya (truthfulness), asteya (honesty), brahmacharya (moderation), and aparigraha (enoughness).
