Peralta (@2loquita2), Master of Fine Arts candidate at Otis School of Art and Design, will deconstruct the symbolic purpose for appropriating the Virgen de Guadalupe’s image and likeness within contemporary and historical systems of faith.

Each guest will create an art piece using the histories and references from the lesson to reinterpret a banner for their vision of freedom in the context of Guadalupe and the spiritual renaissance. All materials will be provided. Please wear comfortable clothes for painting.
