My name is Shirin Senegal and I lost my husband to GUN Violence in 2016, something that I do not want anyone else to experience.
I am the Executive Director of Ronnie’s House, a non profit in North Long Beach, CA dedicated to stopping the violence through social and economic Justice.
Since the start of 2021, Long Beach has been a war Zone seeing 20 shootings so far, with North Long Beach and Central being the top hot zones but this issue is spread across Long Beach and we all have to come together to fix this issue.
We are spending almost 400 million policing but very little is invested in our youth, violence prevention programs.
Please join me and let’s work together on solutions to stop the violence and create a collective voice to ensure our leaders hear us loud and clear and invest in stopping this war zone.
Join us and become an LBC Peacemaker and bring your ideas and work to the table!
