A mural celebrating the LGBTQ+ community of Long Beach will be unveiled in Bixby Park with local leaders and drag performers.
Join us in celebrating the second mural unveiling of our LA vs Hate: Summer of Solidarity program on Saturday, August 5th at Bixby Park. This mural was created in partnership with the City of Long Beach; Long Beach Vice Mayor Cindy Allen; Long Beach LGBT Center; Parks, Recreation and Marine Department; MOLAA Museum and Mural Colors. The mural was designed by Myisha Arellano, a queer migrant from Mexico City living in Long Beach.
The unveiling and dedication ceremony will include speakers and several performances. The community is invited to enjoy family-friendly activities, food, and more.
