In celebration of the ube harvest in the Philippines, Long Beach UbeFest presents The Ube Harvest Festival!

Long Beach UbeFest presents the first ever Ube Harvest Festival, taking place in Long Beach, California.

Commonly harvested in January, Ube/Ubi (Dioscorea Alata) is known as a purple yam from the Philippines which is regularly used for Filipino desserts through the creation of ube halaya (purple yam jam)

This family-friendly festival will take place on Saturday, January 28, 2023 from 11am to 5pm at Kubo, a Filipino community space in the Bixby Knolls community of Long Beach. We will feature over 15+ vendors, giving you the best ube experience.
