Working carefully to create trust, build knowledge, and use that to develop a personalized strategy that fits clients and their goals. She and her husband, Steve Nakamura, also established “Ancient Vine Studio” six years ago in Long Beach to support a growing career in art. They raised two sons through the growing pains of high school and one joining the Marine Corps. As a wife, mom, and member of the Long Beach community she looks forward to helping others.

 Intensively active in the arts community and focused on helping non-profits succeed in their endeavors. Christine is a very active Board Member for Musique Sur La Mer a fantastic children’s orchestra. She helped them make the permanent move to Long Beach as they celebrate their 20th anniversary, and they are an added bonus to the Shoreline village experience. Other organizations that have her full support; California Families in Focus, Long Beach Opera, Long Beach Architecture week, Long Beach Arts Council, and Ronald McDonald House. She loves the diversity of Long Beach and cares about the community.

Originally from Cody, Wyoming, Kevin Wood moved to Long Beach after traveling around the US as well as Canada with the national tour of the Broadway smash hit RENT. Established in 1929, the Long Beach Playhouse has become a Landmark of the city and a staple for performances for decades. Producing over 12 shows annually, the Long Beach Playhouse cuts across age, gender, ethnic, and cultural boundaries to nurture and cultivate audiences. Their vision; To serve our diverse community with quality theatre, strong educational programs and collaborative efforts. To produce socially significant, classic and contemporary plays.

One of Long Beach’s best known attractions with over 1.5 million visitors every year. The Aquarium of the Pacific has been offering visitors from around the world a look at a collection of over 11,000 animals representing over 500 different species. In October of 2018 the Aquarium celebrated a milestone in the construction of its expansion, Pacific Visions, opening to the public in spring 2019, will house a state-of-the-art immersive theater, expanded special exhibition and art galleries, and additional space for live animal exhibits.

Long Beach Lesbian & Gay Pride, Inc. was established in October 1983 and produced the first annual Long Beach Lesbian & Gay Pride Festival & Parade in June of 1984. Over the past several years, the Long Beach Lesbian & Gay Pride Festival & Parade has become the 3rd largest in the nation, now attracting over 80,000 participants over the two-day celebration. More than 200 marching groups and floats comprise the parade entries since 1995, representing various religious, human service, governmental and social organizations. Their mission statement; to engage in and support bridge building activities that educate, encourage and celebrate LGBT inclusion and pride. Coming in May 2019 the parade is held along Ocean blvd.
