Come learn the basics of reiki and sound healing and leave the experience feeling relaxed and rejuvenated while gaining insights and wisdom to improve your mind body and spirit in the NEW YEAR! The organizer of this event, WeBloom, is a radical holistic womxns collective committed to empowering one another while expanding access to wellness. Every 3rd Wednesday of the month, WeBloom practitioners share insights and practices from various healing modalities to benefit the Long Beach community in the Lazy Acres Cafe. MOVIE NIGHT: THE ARISTOCATS
When: Thursday January 16th from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm
Where: Feline Good Social Club, 301 Atlantic Ave, Long Beach
It’s a movie night with cats! The Feline Good Social Club is going to be hosting their first movie night this Thursday! They will be showing The Aristocats (how cute, right?) and light refreshments will be provided. You can also bring additional snacks. Tickets for this event are $20/person and these events fill up fast so make sure you snag your tix before it’s too late! LONG BEACH VEGAN SOCIAL

TIMELESS PINTS ANNUAL CHILI COOK-OFF
When: Saturday January 18th from 2 pm – 5 pm
Where: Timeless Pints Brewing Company, 3671 Industry Avenue, C1, Lakewood
It’s a Chili Cook-off! This free event is an opportunity to try all different types of chili from local chefs, so make sure you come hungry! NEW YEAR BELMONT PIER BEACH CLEAN-UP
When: Sunday January 19th from 12 pm – 1 pm
Where: Belmont Pier, Long Beach
What better way to start out the new year than to help clean up Mother Earth? This Saturday, meet at Belmont Pier to participate in a monthly beach clean-up. This is a great opportunity to make a difference while also making new friends and enjoying the outdoors. This is a free all-ages event.
