Looking to trick or treat but don’t want to be out super late?  Head to 2nd Street in Belmont Shore and let your littles trick or treat at the local businesses from 4 – 6 pm!  We like to get there early and beat the crowds and then call it a night around 5.  It’s nice that it’s still light out and you can also learn about new restaurants and stores in the Shore.  Check out their website for more info and to learn about other Belmont Shore events!

Friday November 1st from 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm

Is it November already?!  That means another First Fridays in Bixby Knolls!  This month’s theme is Day of the Dead so there will be sugar skulls, traditional music and art, and a Community Altar!  This is a great opportunity to teach the kids about this classic Mexican holiday and celebrate those who are no longer with you. Visit their website to learn more!

Saturday November 2nd from 10 am – 4 pm

Airplanes, trucks to sit in, helicopter rides, and more! Check out the Long Beach Airport’s annual Festival of Flight this Saturday! Festival of Flight is a free community celebration (no tickets necessary) featuring aircraft on static display, food trucks, beer trucks, and live music. This year’s event will feature 80s tribute band-Knyght Ryder, and much more!

All ages are welcome and no pets are allowed, except service animals. We encourage you to ride share or use public transportation.  Free parking is available, but limited, on the corner of E. Wardlow Road and Globemaster Way. Head to their website for more info and don’t forget to follow their social channels to learn about more cool events!
