Thunder Thursday

Kick off Grand Prix weekend with Thunder Thursday at the Pike Outlets. The day’s activities will include live music, freestyle motocross & stunts, Grand Prix Car Display, classic car show, and the list goes on! This free event will happen on Thursday, April 12 from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

 

Roar in the Shore

Wednesday, April 11, attend the 7th Annual Roar in the Shore. Meet race car drivers and get an up-close view of their cars. Plus, Tony Carbajal will be back to perform his exciting motorcycle stunts. Don’t miss out on this free event that will be fun for the whole family!

Miss Grand Prix Contest

Join the final contestants at the Hotel Maya on April 11 at 8 p.m. as they compete to become the ambassador of the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach!

Grand Prix Foundation Monte Carlo Night

Friday, April 13 from 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., the Grand Prix Foundation is hosting a casino-style event featuring gambling and a poker tournament. Join your fellow community supporters to help raise money for a good cause while also having a great time! Tickets can be purchased online for $50 each for the casino gambling and $75 for the poker tournament.

Ozomatli Concert

Friday’s race weekend ticket holders get free access to an Ozomatli concert on Friday, April 13. The LA-based band plays a wide range of musical styles like salsa, reggae, funk and rap, just to name a few. The musical production is set to begin at approximately 6:45 p.m.

 

The Cult Concert

Join the rock band, The Cult, on Saturday April 14 to jam out to some of their classics hits like “She Sells Sanctuary” and “Fire Woman”. The show is free to Saturday’s race ticket holders and is planned to begin at 6 p.m. Remember that space on the stage is limited and is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

 

Lifestyle Expo

The Lifestyle Expo is a must event of this weekend! Come see more than 150 displays featuring the latest in automotive, home, recreation, travel and entertainment. This is also where Family Fun Zone, Verizon IndyCar Series Fan Experience, and a series of driver autograph sessions will be held.

Family Fun Zone

The Grand Prix of Long Beach is hosting a family-friendly event that features many activities the whole family can enjoy. Some of these activities include rock climbing walls, games, video games, racing simulators, and so much more. The family fun zone is located in the Long Beach Arena of the Lifestyle Expo.

 

Food Truck Experience

The Grand Prix will bring together some of the best of Southern California’s gourmet food trucks. Located behind Grandstand 31, this is one of the many great food options you won’t want to miss.

 

McManis Wine Bars

The official wine of the Grand Prix, McManis Family Vineyards, will have several wine bars located throughout the race circuit. Be sure to stop by to taste their spectacular varietals.
