LBECE Symposium - Early Education: Equity in Action

The Long Beach Early Childhood Education Symposium theme this year is “Early Education: Equity in Action”.

In the past, participants have chosen their workshops at the time of registration. This year participants will choose their workshops the day of the event by going to the workshop of their choice. Some workshops will be presented in Spanish. Once a workshop is full participants will be directed to choose another workshop. Participants will receive a professional development certificate for eight hours at the close of the day. Grab-and-go breakfast and lunch will be provided.

Target Audience: Early childhood education educators, Transitional kindergarten and ETK teachers as well as kindergarten teachers, directors and principals.

El tema del Simposio de Educación Temprana de Long Beach de este año es “Educación Temprana: Equidad en Acción”.

En el pasado, los participantes elegían sus talleres en el momento de la inscripción. Este año los participantes elegirán sus talleres el día del evento acudiendo al taller de su preferencia. Algunos talleres se presentarán en español. Una vez que un taller esté lleno, se indicará a los participantes que elijan otro taller. Los participantes recibirán un certificado de desarrollo profesional durante ocho horas al final del día. Se proporcionará desayuno y almuerzo para llevar.
