Hi, I’m Ram Bhakt from Long Beach School of Yoga. I have been training yoga teachers since 2013.  I want to let you in on a little secret… there are a lot of yoga schools out there, but very few can offer what we do.

What sets this program apart is my focus on yoga fundamentals and investment in students. We spend more hours together to ensure each students receives the attention and knowledge they need.

This 2-month 200 hour yoga teacher training program equips you with all the knowledge and skills you need to progress in your practice and pursue a successful career in yoga.

In just two short months, you’ll be able to teach all types of classes with confidence, compassion and ease.

WHAT WE COVER

MODULE 1: FOUNDATION

Module 1 of the program provides an introduction to the practice and philosophy of yoga and how to apply yoga in daily life.

You will learn about foundational poses, sequencing, and principles of a safe and holistic practice.

This module includes the following:

● The Path of Yoga and Practice
● Sun Salutations and Joint Freeing Sequence
● Integral Yoga sequence
● Breathing Exercises and Teaching Meditation
● Yoga Sutras of Patanjali (Philosophy)
● Yoga and Self-Care (self-healing, diet, and daily routine)
● Anatomy and Physiology

 

MODULE 2: INTERMEDIATE

The second module of the yoga teacher training course focuses on how to develop your unique teaching style and how to create a more immersive experience for your future students.

Additionally, you’ll learn about intermediate postures, modern yoga styles and how to adapt yoga to people’s individual constitution.

You will also learn about subtle body anatomy (the chakras) and the principles of Bhakti Yoga (devotion) and Hinduism.

This module includes the following:

● Teaching styles: Use of color, sound, smell, and voice
● Intermediate Postures
● Vinyasa Flow, Yin Yoga, Wall Yoga, & other Modern Styles
● Ayurvedic Yoga
● Chakras & Subtle Body Anatomy
● Bhakti Yoga and Hinduism

MODULE 3: ADVANCED 

This module provides aspiring yoga teachers with all the tools they need to start their own yoga-teaching businesses.

This is where you will have a chance to teach a full class and get feedback from your classmates, and me.

You will learn the basics of how to market yourself to find clients and tips for creating successful online classes, too.

This module includes the following:

● Business of Yoga and Legal Issues
● Class observations, Peer instruction, and Feedback
● Teaching other Yoga Communities
● The art of assisting and adjusting students
● Teaching Yoga Online

 

SCHEDULE

THIS IS AN IN-PERSON, INTENSIVE PROGRAM

TYPICAL DAILY SCHEDULE:

● Group class (60-90 min)
● Class Sequence Logic Breakdown & Discussion
● Lunch Break (1 hour)
● Topic & Discussion

TUITION:

Your Tuition Includes: a notebook, all textbooks, entry to all workshops, and access to additional resources. 

$2500 (due on or before the first day of class)

Payment plan option: Total: $2700
$1000 due before the first day of class. Two payments of $850 every three weeks.
