Any small business you might see on the main street, tucked away on a side street, or maybe even a small online business, needs your support this year more than ever. Instead of shopping at some of these big box stores, check out the local Long Beach shops that may be struggling at this time and help the community thrive.

Recircle Home – Recircle Home sells home decor and magical goods. Not only can you buy crystals, jewelry, books, and candles, but there are also plants for all the plant lovers in your life! Refresh your home in one visit – either in person or from the comfort and safety of your home.
Purple Yoga – There are plenty of yoga studios to check out but if you do, make sure they are small local ones. Purple Yoga now has two locations with various classes but if you are unable to make it to the studio, they also offer online classes via zoom. Supporting local can be done online with yoga classes.
Steel Cup Café – After shopping all day, what better way to fill your belly and support local than by checking out this hot spot. Steel Cup Café offers breakfast and lunch with plenty of options for all walks of life. If you need vegetarian, vegan, or are gluten-free options, they also have something for you.
Small Business Saturday and Giving Tuesday don’t have to be for just a day. Supporting local changes the community as a whole and is a different way to give back at this time of year, all month long.
